Thought i would make a thread that everyone could use to post their scores.


I got 4717 Marks




It doesnt do alot of the tests. Im assuming you have to buy it for it to do this?

Dunno if that score is good for my system or not but the new benchmark doesnt look that much different from the old one.

Lol, my first run was 3465 (CPU clocked at 2.4ghz, due to lack of cooling)

So it seems the 7800 GTX's maybe dominating...

 

4437 marks without my CPU being overclocked (I think that was bottlenecking it slightly). Not as bad as I expected it to be.

I will post my scores but I am having problems installing it, I get a diagnostic error whenever I try to install it, any ideas?

 

they've moved most of the stress to the pixel shader, which is more realistic to the way games work, but still... it won't tell me how well my video card plays Quake 4 or Call of Duty 2.

 

lol that a little more releaving since a X1800 XL is the 78' GT's rival. None the less this does seem abit pointless, it's only a mindless score.

EDIT: OMGZ U GOT MORE THAN ME WITH A SINGLE CORE /sarcaism. though that does show that the 7800 GT has abit more preformance.

The cpu test seems overly harsh - is this Futuremark pre-empting a release of a cpu (or ppu) that's apparently around 20-30 times better at generating a 3d scene? The HDR loveliness looks particularly nice, but I can't help feeling it's gone all FIFA on us, i.e nip and tuck for next year's release but essentially the same thing (hey that looks good, we'll cobble it on the end).

edit: btw, for those considering ocing their 7800GT's, a looksee at this page explains what happens when you oc the core.

My FX-55 and my oc 7800GTX SLI setup performes equally with a single 7800GTX 512mb...

Do you not need a specific SLI profile for the application? Or is that just for optimisations... because sailorboy is getting the same score as me with a lot more power.

The CPU tests have always been taxing... my friend's overclocked Barton 2800+ goes to 0fps in some places on 3DMark '03. I got a pretty much consistent 0-2fps on this version

 

Anyone else finding it fairly hard to actually find a download location that works? I hate it when companies release stuff and expect you to jump through hoops on other websites to download their product. I mean, I'm not registering with some crappy games site I never want to use again just so I can actually download something :|

I work at a professnal computer website in Peking China, and I just finish my test, you can see the scores

AMD FX60/A8N32-SLI/512MB*2 DDR 400 2225/WD 360 HD

and nVIDIA win 3DMark06, 256MB 7800GTX beat 1800XT 512MB

I think there is something wrong with ATi`s Driver

specs in sig, though the CPU is at 2.4ghz I don't think the GPU is overclocked... but I haven't been in the driver CP in a a while so it could be @ultra for all I know.

The torrent was *really* slow for me, all things considered. I mean, hundreds of seeds and thousands of peers, and I was only pulling 50K/sec. I've gotten OVER 500K/s on much smaller (and more questionable) torrents, and I'm on 4Mbit (=500Kbyte) cable.

Wait till the PPUs are for sale... should be interesting for scores, as apparently this makes use of them.
