What were the timings used in the two tests?

 

the clocks on my 5800 are 500/1000 and the chip was an A64 3000 @ 220 fsb

 

2.5,3,3,10 @ 255, DC
2,2,2,10 @ 240 SC

erm.....I run 5400 ish on 3dMark05, is that really bad? should I be getting 20k?!

 

This thread is for 3D Mark 2001 so thats why your score looks low, check the 3d mark 05 thread for a better comparison

I've been poking around... is there a leader board or thread for 3dmark 05? I see the 03 thread does have some 05 scores in it but no leaderboard and no dedicated thread for 05.

Managed to squeeze out a little bit more on the way to 21k, clean install and dx8 should hopefully help

But i had DX8.1 , So i will install DX9 and see what diffrence. Maybe 22K.

 

dx8 will give higher results than dx9.... 3dmark 01 is dx8 after-all...
