Electronics 3mm led for 5mm led

    can i change a 3mm led red for a 5mm led blue if its any help the blue is the bright ones from maplin and the 3mm red led is on a scsi card at the mo thanks in advance for any reply

    it might work but probably not because blue leds tend to draw more current and require a higher voltage than red leds so youd have to use an opto isolator etc to do it

    SHOULD WORK DEPENDANT ON VOLTAGES OF BLUE AND RED leDS ..
