Got tired of trillian. Why didn't they have a popup to tell you who was signing in! :grr:

I also used to have Plus until I used XP and I don't think there was an update for Windows Messenger at the time. Still it's nice to have it back.

    Cheers

Good things in this is that it gets rid of the annoying advert at the bottem of the screen, and the personalised away messages (auto responder)... :D

Hmmm I swear while reading through the preferences I saw something which would alert when someone changed their name. Can't find it now. Can someone point me there?

I like the new feature where you can put in your pop email settings and see if you have any new messages rather than just opening outlook!

There is a second version of this now for MSN 5: Go to google and search for 'Messenger plus'

    Trillian rocks.

IMO the free version of trillian is better than the paid for Trillian Pro

I must be the only person left using MSN Messenger 3.6 (The last of the grey versions). I rarely use any patch features and I don't have emoticons or sounds turned on either.

It sends messages, it recieves messages. I need no more.

I was using the default version of MSN Messenger that comes with a new install of XP without any updates until a few days ago.

That was nice, no ads, no crap

    But trillian is better
