Sorry to rehash, but was hoping people could help me track down the quality Campaign Co-Op games for 4 players. We are just finishing up Borderlands (My 5th time through it!), and we are looking at Dead Island (aside from it's buggyness). Just wondering if anyone has any quality games, preferably first person style but we're open to suggestions. I've done Serious Sam and L4D to death, so anything but! Thanks guys!
Renegade Ops? It's not really a fully fledged game, but it's a quick fun blast that i believe supports 4 Players. I'll dig around my Steam collection to see what me and my friends have played over the years. - Magicka EDIT: FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU fathazza - Call of Duty: World at War (ignore the Treyarch haters, this was good). - Titan Quest
I heard Magicka can be quite complex and have a steep learning curve? Have always been tempted though. Yeah Titan Quest looks really good.
This! An absolute blast to design and play co-op. Local and remote co-op. Can use keyboard/mouse or controllers like the 360.
Yea I've got DD, but not sure it is meaty for other members of my gaming party. Will defo get one of my mates on it for a bash though, as it is laptop friendly which makes things easier as he doesn't have to bring his PC over!
Hmmm... wouldn't really say it's *that* complex, and it does a good job of easing you into things. TBH the biggest challenge will be not to kill each other... but you'll find it hilarious each time you do. Sent from bit-tech Android app
Loving this game to bits, it's a casualled-down split-screen co-op version of World of Warcraft, essentially - exactly what I've been moaning after for years. My sister and I have, like you, played Serious Sam and the L4Ds to death and are now wishing there were more games like them. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light provided some similar thrills, but it's only 2-player, while the Trine games are only 3-player. 4-player is even more of a niche than local co-op generally, so you'll struggle; so far as I know, Dungeon Defenders is as good as it gets.
Conflict Desert Storm 1,2 and Global Storm were great fun. Otherwise Syndicate apparently rocks. Left for Dead is also a given. Diablo 2 is also crack cocaine and you can run private parties.
Syndicate is good fun co-op, but there is no campaign co-op, just 9 missions. However, there is more meat in the co-op than there is in the campaign. Bigger tech tree, more weapons, great fun.
Hmm I was looking at Syndicate, but the Bit-Tech review put me off of it. Damn I'm such a sheep! Co-Optimus is good, but I feel it is too dis-coordinated (is that a word?) to find out what I need.

Hear is a better list http://www.co-optimus.com/system/4/pc.html Go there. And youl find evrything you need to no for a coop game of your likeing
Rainbow 6: Vegas! Too bad Vegas 2 moved back to 2 player -.-'. If you can all run it, there's ArmA 2 as well if you can all be bothered to learn how the game is played. Don't try Operation Arrowhead though, whilst the gameplay mechanics might have improved, the Coop got worse (each in charge of a squad instead of all in a squad - less teamwork, less "fun"). The PMC DLC looks interesting, but we never got around to trying it. Which also brings me onto Operation Flashpoint 2, it's not quite as bad as the bit-tech review suggests but it soon becomes that way once you get used to ArmA 2, so i'd play this first as a sort of stop-gap between BF3/COD and ArmA2.
There's always Battlefield: Bad Company 2, of course. It's entirely structured around 4-player squads, and is at its most rewarding and complex when played with 3 friends. It's not campaign, but given how sophisticated the game can get with a good team, I don't think that's much of a drawback.
