I reckon if I grab a dozen of these, stick 'em on Ubuntu and fold flat out, I'd be in with a fighting chance of overtaking Doc before the end of the year :p:

Now I just need to find work out where to find £25k...

Crikey that's a lot of points. I am considering the efficiency of using folding for home as heat at my new house .

@Shirty, I think that would work - you might even get away with 'just' using 11 cards (if they all churn out 26M PPD) :cooldude:
As @Arboreal notes, I wouldn't like to see that leccy bill (it would dwarf mine, and mine is ... BIG :hehe:)
@MLyons, I do use mine for heating the house ... but it is not the most efficient form of heating! :dremel:

@Shirty - looks like you've got yourself a nice little Christmas present; perhaps an RTX 4090 card (undervolted), or an RTX 4080? :cooldude:

Very astute Doc, it's a 4080 on Ubuntu 20.04. Very impressive output, it will be getting a partner in the next few weeks, either a 4080 or 4090 depending on how I juggle finances :hehe:

Yes, although PPD on the latest rig is scuppered a little by being on an old 1st gen i5 rig I found in the loft - will be fixed later this week.

This one's a 4070Ti by the way. I decided to "cheap" out :hehe:

Your recent PPD jump tells me you've got another shiny RTX 40xx card :thumb:

I may have unearthed another Ti :winking:

    I figured it was £1700 for a single 4090 @ c.25m PPD or the same cost for a couple of 4070Tis @ c.30m.
