Know a chap selling a gtx260 maxcore ocx speeds 655.1404/2250 for £80. Its a quick card just as fast as a standard gtx275 due to the clocks. Its an alternative but one you may want I couldnt say. Andy
Just in case anyone was interested to know, I eventually got delivery of my 4890 installed it and everything was honky dory. Note the use of the word 'was'! I left a wire out the front of my case and tripped over it tossing it of my desk leaving it in ruins. Crap! A waste of £135. Or not. Amazingly, although shattered I can still post on these here forums. I haven't gotten it to play any games yet. Apart from the occasional BSOD every other hour it seems to be going fine but i might need to Hijack my own thread and ask what is a good cheap case. so far I can think of nothing nothing better than the antec 300!! Any suggestions?
good choice but i do wonder what the besgt rpice for that case will be in the UK. That is the whole reason for considering the antec 300!
antec 300 is about 40 quid, HAF922 is about double that. having gone from the 300 to the 922, id recommend spending the extra dosh on the 922, the roominess inside is worth it.
The Antec 300 will serve your purposes. Although if you want more room, and perhaps a better case overall the 922 is the choice. I'd say 300 for the pricetag alone.
