Hi there, My iPod 4G 20GB (U2 edition ) has recently died on me. I plugged it into the Firewire port and iTunes recognised it as corrupt and recommended restoring it. After restoring, it only switches on when it's connected to the firewire/ charger and shows the wall charger animation. If I then hold menu and select buttons the empty battery icon appears and flashes. Time for a new battery?
