I have now but bought other buttons in Ebay.

It continued thus to plug the hole in the subwoofer.

For this I have been milled from a single piece of beech wood a bag.

At the lower edge then another milling for the cables.

Then it could even be glued.
The cable is made so that the plug Ausschnit even fit through.

Then I painted on the front, the Plexiglas. The sides have worked out well.

But for whatever reason, the Plexi is showing cracks at the bottom :(
But there is already a solution. The you see then in the next update.

On the front I glued on the back 2 tabs to it tightening.

It continued with the "sound bar". Since this also somehow had to be fixed this has also got tongues.

The screws can be screwed concealed from the outside between Plexi and Soundbar.

Next, I have the cable laid clean and glued the partition walls with silicone.
This has the reason that the distances between the loudspeakers are narrower than the dividing walls. If I had this glued now I would not get the speaker case of a defect out.
Silicone I could cut with a cutter.

The angle adapter have come yesterday. This I did with the cables glued to the nothing can solve.

    And also the same letters.

Then I was able to stick the lid with silicone.

Since it has been suggested that I should use a fabric cable I took that to heart and wanted time with my parents in the attic.

But unfortunately that is no longer usable. Something Porous I've never seen. Is indeed perilous.
I have now ordered a new one in Ebay. I hope it still comes before DCMM.

I also still glued to the floor.

Tomorrow then comes to the front of the speaker fabric and I have to build in front of the holder for the tablet.

So, now falls the update from a bit bigger. I was 8 clock - 23:30 clock in the workshop and only 2x to eat out.

During the week I had been worried the brass plate.
From this I geschnitte to remove one tile to the IEC power socket and turn it into a grommet.

The cable is also arrived yesterday.
For the cover I worried even 2 brass screws.

The heatsink has now rectified, as he had no paint by cutting apart in a few places.

After that, I took care of the bass reflex tube, since the plate was indeed behind something broken. Therefore, I have then filed away completely and painted the edge Brown.

The bass reflex tube I have some ground around and inside honed something smooth.

Then I seal it with clear lacquer, sanded ...

... And a second time finish.

    I then applied black paint.

So it looks from then installed.

We went this morning then with the keys.
This press of the tablet buttons that are attached at the bottom. (Power, Volume Up and Volume Down)
But I've only once a pattern built around a little rum to taste.
Ultimately, I then decided to use rubber.

Since the key must move siech yes I have adhered to the rubber on Plexi and the timber only at the front edge.
    Thus, the key can teeter.

When it was decided to use I could make the radio even the clippings

Only with the Japanese fine saw cut ...

    ... And then work out.

    Once the front sample seats.

For the Main Power switch I had to think of something else.
At first I had thought that I was getting the switch below the key. But he was unfortunately 1.5cm long. :)
So I mounted the switch on the subwoofer and the key let a little longer.
If you start thinking about it presses the switch is operated.

Now came the worst part before I have pushed myself a long time.
    The veneers.
At first I wanted times and cut a beautiful part out of my veneer.

Then I applied the contact adhesive and let it dry.

When sticking the veneer I have done something wet that it can be bent easily.

At one point, the veneer is not available cunning and has then rotated so that I no longer get it back.
Therefore, I had to cut a piece out there and put a new piece.
But I have to show forgot ain image of the finished work. That's what I get then after tomorrow.

Since the wood is lighter than ha the veneer, there are different Zebrano woods yesterday I was almost an hour for joiners.
Since've specially prepared with pipette and base colors designed an oil stain.
The upper is oil Pur, the lower the mixture.
With the mixture, only the full timber is treated with the pure oil only used the veneer, and then all over again together.

It looked then to 3 times involved from.

As long as the dried is I have been looking after the electrical system in the subwoofer.
As an outlet for the Tablet Charger came in. I could have also opened and soldered directly, but if it is defective, I have nothing but trouble. So rather then the sockets.
And I also have a volume of 5x5x5cm has always been missing the subwoofer again, the same volume as the original. : D

The passages were now sealed adhesive with Heis.

At the cable goes through the rear wall was a plug, so you can remove the back panel at any time. Now here's the grounding tuned;)

Next we went back with the keys.
This've got feathers, because I feel that has not yet been so fit and they go so beautiful in the zero position.

So I then Try the tablet so I had to find the keys by rounding the machine can not take the keys Come. Therefore, I have since just glued some veneer.

Next I worked on the edges of Auschnitts. The 45 degree edge I did not like, so the edge was filed completely obliquely and then polished.

Here uch Danna already with Tablet.
Because I just remembered that I have given you the holder still withheld. For this purpose, then tomorrow a little update.

I have here a video of the test of keys

Of course I had to actually even the buttons on it stuck to see how everything interacts. : D

That was not enough to me that even quickly put the soundbar pure.

Phu, now it is at 1 clock and I'm something of all.

Morning comes then still the remaining bits and pieces. On Monday I have to get another 2 cable, then it is finished.

Here I still mount a picture for you from the tablet.

It continued today then with their feet. Since I have the rubber feet used by the subwoofer and cleansed even with silicone spray.

Next, I then prepared a brass strip and polished.

This comes down here on the Plexiglas to cover the resulting cracks.
Glued I have used this with superglue. Therefore, I first the case protected by paper.

Then I could stick him already.

All I then again reground and polished as some superglue has come to the brass.

What's even great at the bar, they can engrave.
The Engraving I then blackened and again sanded and polished over it.

    So it looks finished.
Of course, the unused buttons are not symbols.

Then today, a gimmick to me is still remembered .... a nameplate: D

In addition I have cut a brass plate and stamped a piece of text engraved, and the other part with punched numbers.

The whole was then still attached with 4 screws on the back. However, I do not like the screws, so I'll get there tomorrow new.

During the week came yet this ultramodern iron. What I bought for the cable.

I find this fits better than the Grey-brown at the bottom of the image.
But right now I am still waiting for the power outlet. I hope this will come tomorrow.

The radio is then only times so far finished. I only lack an audio cable with right angle plug, which I'll get tomorrow.

The outlet is then also came the next day, but I had to make a cable.
The contacts I have then isolated with hot glue.

In connector to the subwoofer, I have also made a good boy ferrules it :)

The USB connector had to be angled, as would otherwise be tackle on the Potti board.

With this material, I have all the cables passages sealed where the cable still to be solved if the housing would have to be dismantled times.

Then I have all the cables neatly tied together that there also can rattle nix.

Here we see again all beautifully angled plug. The 3,5er jack plug I worried until today. This was an act, but I had to have a ride 80km until I found one who had it :(

Thus, the radio is ready. The next pictures are the finales images.
