eyergasm hope you paint the inside of the case that color too, maybe have the drive cages be black with the white stripes like on the side panel looks amazing
I don't really want to post, as i feel all im going to say is droooooooooooooool. I have no critisisms, other than is the other side panel looking slightly off colour? does it need more layers etc? Also in regards to painting my mini, i think im adding some stripes on it over the summer....some nice white ones
@ Stickeh: Yea, I think it needs some more layers and it'll match. I'm sure he won't leave it like that. @ Paul: Long way to go, eh? But for now relax and be proud of what you've done as it's just awesome.
Yeah yeah it literally had its first coat of yellow I also noticed the way bit has the images reduced does nothing for the clean lines of the stripes.........did Bit just reduce the image sizes as i don't seem to remember that Still not sure what colour i'm going on the inside but with a bit of luck it should turn out alright and be a bit more interesting than what's going on at present as its a bit same same at the moment but it all needs to be done and just want to keep a log of it all. Hey Stickeh i'm getting quite good at stripes if you want some
Your on, ill bring it round, and you can even stick a big coolercases.co.uk sticker on the rear windscreeen?
I reckon the inside would look good as black with white and yellow highlights, tbh. For instance, the tool-less modules could be painted yellow or white for the "highlights".
Woah, no idea there were so many bike enthusiests on Bit. I love the color scheme, and the Yamaha R6. Me, I have a Suzuki.
Only things more fun than bikes are (#2) planes and (#1) helicopters. (#3) Bikes are a little cheaper. I chose (#4) boats. They aren't as much fun as bikes but much more expensive. The logic escapes me at the moment, but I'm sure it makes sense somehow. (Maybe it has something to do with the permanent limp I have.) Every time I look at this log, I'm struck by the bold simplicity. For my tastes, I hope you don't add to much more detail. It's stunning like it is. But the interior, now there's a place to look for something interesting...
Some great comments thanks...........makes it all worth while thank Drilled out all the rivets on the rest of the case and got all the parts primed and painted and as previously suggested, rather than paint it all one colour decided to paint it a mixture of all three so it should look a bit more interesting with the side off. Also got a set of Lain Li wheels which i've temporarily stuck on with double sided tape until i see how the radiator is going to fit but already look a bit better than the stock ones A great bit of advice i was given ages ago - measure twice, cut once has definitely come in good on this one.........took me ages to mask up but i managed to get it almost totally symmetrical on both sides and the blocks and stripes are practically exact so i'm quite pleased with that. Before i start riveting it all back together i'm going to have a word with the body shop and see if its worth getting the whole lot clear coated as i presume it would be easier to do while all the parts aren't in one bit but i'll see what they say. Still got a few other bits to be getting on with but this is the progress to date............
The paintwork is just superb, I don't care about the theme, that looks so professional! And painting it across the window and everything... Speechless.
This really has to be one of the best paint jobs ive seen on a PCcase. The colors blend so well. NIce sharp lines. FLawLEss. keep up the good work
Good job with the paint, how much have you spent on all yur tools? must be alot, looks real professional.
Thats insane! Black and yellow are my favourite colours, im absolutely loving the clean lines. Its nice and simple, but just works so well!
