Scan now have the 560Ti 448 core up on their site. The cheapest? £239.47 WTF? You can get a full blown 570 for that.
Actually if you add the discount at Dabs it costs £10 more than a KFA2 570. What the hell sense is that?
The more numbers it has in its name though, the better it is. Right? I know people who actually work on this principal And they will no doubt be buying this.
Thats total BS! I've very recently seen GTX 570's at that price point! IMHO they should be below £200 to offer good bang for buck considering 560ti's are now going for £150
Sod it then, I was waiting to see what this would be priced at. A KFA2 570 for £230 inc discount is a far better buy then.
Theyre doing a great job of shifting extra 570's by pricing the 560ti's at that much cash. I see conspiracy!
This was what I was concerned about, limit a run of 10,000 nearly 570s to encourage 570 purchase over a 560 Ti. It's working, now I'm trying to weigh up whether I get the cheapest KFA2 570 or a nice and quiet 570 Phantom.
Me too, this has thrown my build right up the chuff, was going to go for a 560ti normal but now its getting a bit long in the tooth and they've done a filler before next gen costing as much as the 570....arrgghhhh!
Little disappointing. To my mind some of the GTX 570 have been inflated, wasn't the MSI Power Edition 480 core more in line with what the 448 core pricing is now about a month ago?
Cheap 570 anyone? http://www.dabs.com/products/kfa2-g...le&utm_medium=product+search&utm_content=Q200
That's what I was on about, Dabs have codes on their site too £10 off a £199+ spend gets you it for £230. That's cheaper than the new 560 Tis FFS!
Sod it, think I'll get a 570 Phantom, the extra cooling will be handy for using the beta afterburner to unlock the voltage options.
They reckoned on 5-10% slower so maybe I was being completely stupid in believing that it would be at least 5-10% cheaper than a 570, not 5-10% more expensive.
http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/29/nvidia-announces-special-edition-gtx-560-ti-with-448-cuda-cores/ intended price is $290?? ugh... i'd rather wait for boxing day to get a 560Ti <$200...... Guru3d: http://www.guru3d.com/article/msi-geforce-gtx-560-ti-448-core-oc-power-review/ that and Hexus's review shows with a little voltage it overclocks really well... now just wait for it to drop to its intended price point?
