    Hi guys

Tried trawling round for a bit and either through pure stupidity or because the info doesn't exist, I have a question. Does anyone know if the ProLiant N54L supports 6TB drives, or if not, whether there's any reason why it shouldn't? (willing to drop to a 5TB if a 6 doesn't work but 5 does.)

I have one with a three and a four terabyte drive (among others) in there and it works flawlessly, but I just need more space. (damn TV shows and films!) I wouldn't expect there to be any issues, but I just need reassurance from someone a little more knowledgeable.

    Thanks!

After breaking the 32-bit limit (2.2TB), the next limit is 128 PiB.

So no physical limitation on the N54L as far as the backplane or any of that is concerned?

Thanks. Worst comes to the worst I'll end up with a 6TB drive in my desktop.
