7800 GTX Extreme Edition Head-To-Head

With Gainward Europe boss, Wolfram Tismer, moving to eVGA recently, he has taken the innovatek deal with him. Not sure if Gainward will continue with it, but eVGA have already announced a card, and plan to enter the UK market aggressively.

BFGTech have also released a 7800GT with waterblock.

 

I got msi fx5900xt in mid summer of 2004. I still can play quake 4 on medium settings (advance settings no AA, no VS, other options YES) at 15-50FPS with much flunctuation depending on a Single Player level. Multiplayer is 55FPS Average. So I can still get the feel of the game.

So if I would get the 7800GTX now, I think I would manage to stick it with it for like 3 years =) $500/3 = $167 per year.

why cant you just post the avg FPS from each game, 'playable setting' is so vague... some people think 30 to 40 fps is enough, others want 80 fps for their multiplayer experience... If you'd just post the fps, we can figure it out ourselves.

 

Several readers were incredibly confused by our fps graphs as there were different resolutions and settings being used on them. If you actually read the text, we discuss smoothness and other such things... also, read our editorial that was posted today - it explains why we do things the way we do them.

I'd have any one of these cards... and am willing to whore myself out to the level of starring on reality tv... shame i cnt be arsed to sign up for any tv shows... and have a brain larger than a grape.

Anywho that leadtek cooler looks the mutts nuts.
