    Hello!

I'm currently sat waiting for a s****y compaq to recover win 8 from a partition. Thing is, is that it's taken 4 hours to get to 22 %. I want to therefore wipe the whole drive and start again from scratch.

I am now aware that the COA is encrypted on the BIOS and that you can retrieve this with some clever software. Also that you can have generic licenses to install 8, which you can remove and then stick your license key in later.

But I can't for the life of me find a retail .iso anywhere. Oh and because I can't get to the license key until win 8 is installed, I can't get it from Microsoft's website.

I did think the COA on the BIOS was a good idea.......

Any help on locating the .iso (core) would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

It's an OEM COA, it won't work with that unfortunately.
