    heya guys

    will the 8600gt in the Asus G1S-A1 laptop beat my 7800gtx go in my evesham laptop in gaming?

    looks a sweet laptop

    No The 8600 GT is slower then you're 7800 GTX but the 8600 GTS is almost as fast.

    The 8600GT is a bit slower, but I'd go with it - the image quality will be much better. It wasn't much cop on the G70/71, and after all, why have a nice laptop if the quality's poor?

    Stealing thread a little here..
    So upgrading from a 7800GT to a 8600GT would be a good deal?

    It would probably keep similar performance or lower it a bit Jokkocze, since 8600GT seems to be lower then an 7900GS in most things and a 7900GS is a bit better then a 7800GT.
