Hey guys, I am building a computer for a friend and just tried to install Ubuntu, but it kept freezing, I don't no if its a borked download, or not, but I checked the CPU temp, 87C Now this can't be normal.
I am using the stock heatsink with Arctic Silver 5. Just took the heatsink off and the coverage is fine, nice and even.
The case is open and the room temperature is about ~29-30 C
    It is a Celeron 331.

Celeron 331s do run hot with stock cooling, but that is way out there. Strange that it runs that hot, I would try checking the BIOS settings for smartfan options, and also try re-doing the arctic silver.

Just finished re-installing the cooler (with fresh AS5, cleaned with Arcticlean 1 and 2) Just installing Ubuntu now. Will check temps once its done, also turned on the fan monitoring.
