i'd be interested in some but it will depend on the price, at 30-50 pence a piece i'd be interested!

/me remembers I used to have a PSU that used these - goes off to find it...

Well from the supplier we have found we are going to have to sell these at about 80p (for connector + cap) each.

Unfortunately the import tax, VAT and other prices make prices int he UK alot higher than US :(.

could almost be better to club together and buy them from the US modding site, find 10 people who want them and the shipping becomes affordable. Alternatively someone willing enough in the US could post them out probably for less...

Anyone know what the import duty regulations are for this sort of thing?

That would work out even more expensive :)... with VAT, Import-tax.

If your interested i should be getting these in for this time next week.

you can have as many as you want, this is why i needed to find out how many people want as the amount has already doubled the amount i was going to buy.

VAT added (@ 17.5%) and customs clearance fee (I think) if it's a parcel.
If it's a package/envelope type deal, then it's just VAT (IIRC, it's a few months at least since I imported anything).

If they use a courier as opposed to USPS you'll be looking at their import charges as well.

There is no import tax or duty to pay on PC hardware.

surely they could be, they're not really used any where else, RS even devide them of in to their own sub-cat called "Power Connectors" instead of their molex name. Plus their sold on a PC hardware site. May not work for you Arien but may do for single users...

Aparently they were made for telecommunications before PC's. Anyways it's worth a try, i should be ordering the first batch today or tomorrow.

The manufacturer still calls them 'Disk Driver power connectors', though.

Therefore you can have the description on the customs label read 'computer parts' with complete confidence.

Don't use Scorpion Mods! I've ordered from them twice and both times my order has taken over a month to receive. That and they dont respond to e-mails!

(over a month and I'm IN the US)

Eh, gentlemen, you used to be able to buy pre-made right angle molex cables, usually with 5 connectors at Computer Fairs. If you like I'll check out the next one, but I've still got a couple of these kicking around the house.

I think the price was around £4
