Graphics 9800pro 128mb or 9800 pro 256mb?

    So which card should I buy the 9800pro 128mb or 256mb? Does the additional 128mb of memory justify the extra cost?

    Ah right, how much are the 256mb gonna cost then? If it's over £400 for a start, I wouldn't bother.

    Unless you have a huge monitor cable of really high resolutions and plan to run all of your games with anti-aliasing maxed out then don't bother with the 256meg version as you will be wasting money.

    Last I herd games are just now starting to support the 128MB let alone 256MB....

    I wouldnt bother with the 256MB version games wont start to use that untill early/mid 2005 probably, SOME are only just starting to utilize 128MBs of memory so an extra 128MB would just be a waste of money in my opinion.

    Last I heard graphics cards next year were going to contain at least 20 yotta quads of memory and create an alternate universe on the fly and then warp the space time continum to break the borders allowing you to transistion between reality and the game universe :)

    Of course this is just a rumour from the back of a pack of matches a hedgehog had stuck to its back, which was found in the back garden yesterday... ;)

    how much of an improvement are 9800 pro's in comparison too 9700's?

    Just wondering if its worth the extra bit of dosh u c?
    Im guessin they beat the G-Force FX hands down!?
