One of these days I should drill a tap guide block too, but just tossing the part in the press is quick and easy.

@Achron - Yeah, these larger taps will tilt in the direction of the first blade that grabs. The press does a good job of preventing that. It will even tap crooked if the work is in the vise crooked. ^See exhibit A.

    munky transmission
    love it!
    hay cheaps
why dont you just use a clamp to hold the 2 pices together
then set it on something really flat to square up the brackets before the glue dries
    just my thoughts

    Awesome, Thanks for watching!

We need more viewers to help spread the word, so we can do more episodes :thumb:

Awesome video - as usual, I might say. Looking VERY much forward to the paint-your-whatever-metal-case guide in the next episode - especially the aluminium (I'm european!) part.

Quick question: did your camera man wear a mask, too, when you painted, or is he expendable? ;)

It's called "non-slip mat", or something similar. Here in Denmark you can buy it in any hardware store. People normally use it in their kitchen drawers, or under decorative carpets that are placed on wooden floors. Keeps stuff from slipping about..

Love the spacer bars for the acrylic, don't know how that skipped my eyes in the build log :D.

Great show, hope it gets the required views to keep it going & make it bigger .

    Duck tape!
The spacer bars were to be plastic too, but you know Bill... He seems to hate the solvent glue. (Hey, that rhymes!)

-Having stuff posted out of order is screwing with my rhythm, though... Here's a pic of fingerprints and tape residue, and the cleaning port for the res.
-Here's the gluing setup I used. I just trussed everything to a toolbox. My bathroom mirror has become a depository for used blue tape.
-I'll post this one too, since it's part of that set. Somewhere in all that tape is the top mounting bracket. Gluing this was the last thing I had to do, so I guess I'm doing the log backwards.

Cheaps <- Love the syringe just sitting there... Doesn't look bad at all, if you have no idea how to glue acryllic!

    +1 on the newest episode!

mnpctech <- Why not use the magic doublesided tape to glue a Rottweiler to the window? Then you could get rid of the mesh outside!

Btw... Zotac... Where did I hear that name before...?...

    Ohh, now I remember!

For the 790i board! :) Sorry for OT ...
