    Another great episode keep them coming, and thanks for the tips for the painting, it will come in very handy for me. But I do have a question, if I were to paint my case gloss black should I use a clear coat afterwards?

    thanks

    It's not necessary, but the clear coat will help protect your finish.

    Guide to painting your case and giving it a Black mirror finish, without clear coat

    Just one thing about the video. You DON'T want to use alcohol on plastics. It causes crazing.
    -Just spreading the gospel. It's been preached to me too.:lol:
    That self-etching primer really does stink. The Ion cube still hasn't aired out completely. When you start it up it gives off a wet paint smell.

    @Shadow - I've gone into lots of detail on waterblocks on past projects.;)
    @boy 4rm - Thanks.:D

    ...body rubber?:eyebrow: I hope that's a new term for 'massage therapist'.

    @extreme moder, duly noted for next season :thumb:, the guides in episode #3 have been the most popular so far

    @bagman, Enamel spray paint takes 30 days to fully cure when "air drying" in environment thats around 70F ....I've heard people using halogen lights to help speed up the cure time, but you need to watch the paint diligently, so you don't cook it...lol. The best thing is to do experiment with something else first.

    This needs to get picked up by Discovery. If they can show "American Chopper"...

    I'm not wired to do the reality drama BS that American Chopper has become (Jr vs Sr). The next step is branching out our content to more basic PC info, Consoles, and Apple products for wider appeal. The goal right now is to just spread the word about the series and hopefully break thru to a larger internet audience. Jan, (Producer) and I agree that a 2 week release between episodes would have been fine. We would be happy if Mod Men got picked up by PBS! :hip:

    OMFG... just noticed something crazy:
    Those are PHILIPS head screws in the MNPCTech logo at the end of each Modmen episode video.

    They have to be replaced with torx or allen head screws IMMEDIATELY!

    ;)
