Hello, I have been pretty bored lately and so decided to start up a new website (I have never done one before)

If you could please take a look at it and tell me what you think:

    www.cheap-information.co.uk

It is offering bargains from anywhere completely free. Perhaps you can add it to your favourites and sign up, check back once every few days and if you see a bargain buy a few and sell a few more on Ebay!!

I don't think that this is against any of your rules but I just wanted to see what you all thought about it.

Hopefully it will grow and there will be all the bargains on the internet posted on it.

Please can you let me know which looks better out of:

And the current one on the website at www.cheap-information.co.uk

Any advice would be much appreciated and please, please sign up!!!

I personally like the version using the Jenova template, but I suppose it's just personal preference. The image that you posted looks a lot more welcoming and not as harsh, but if you're going for a more technical feel then the Jenova template is probably best.

Ok, I've stuck with the Jenoava as I think it looks better.

Does anyone have an idea on how to insert HTML onto the actual website?

I want to insert a counter at the bottom of the main page but I have no idea how to.

Any help would be great and appreciated.

Well it looks like you figured it out, but in case anyone else wants to know, you can simply add the counter to the overal_footer.tpl file in the templates/subSilver (or whatever template you're using) folder.

I got this other guy to do it, he's really helpful.

    I don't have a clue what I'm doing though.

    Thanks for the help though.

    Hopefully my last question but:

When you add a favourite to Firefox usually, on most websites there is a little picture besides the name, is there any way that I can do that for my website?

Ok, I have created an extremely tacky icon:

Just by using Publisher so I think that is why the quality is awful and the design isn't any good.

Now, how do I resize it to 16 x 16 and then add it to my website?

FYI, your info on how to unlock the £149.99 V3 razr leads to a nokia unlock page. And everone knows Razrs are made by....Daewoo....:worried:

(the biggest phone company you've never heard of....)

That Unlock page only does Nokias? Sorry about that I had no idea.

Other than that, what else should I change on the site?

Hi, do sign up! As for the templates, I have no real idea what I am doing to be honest. I just paid this bloke of Ebay to sort it all out for me!
