Heh, I think that is the best post/rep ratio I have ever seen here. Already considered for president yet with only 5 posts! These guys must like you.
As a lot of us on this forum rate you guys. Maybe you should give bit-tech members with a certain post count a 10% discount? I'm sure your sales will increase with such geniousity, which would be a win win for everyone. (If you don't ask, then the answer will always be no...)
*cheeky punt* Or why not do a competition on here to win a monitor. Could help to promote the site further with the community.
Not used your company myself, but i've heard nothing but praise, so you must be doing something right Sam
Agreed with all the above. True_Gamer was the chap that pointed me in your direction for my U2711 - never looked back had a brilliant experience with NRG IT. at least 3/4 of my colleagues and friends now use you for monitor purchases. Well done!
Hi Simon, Well, I can't always promise a 10% discount as margins are incredibly tight and sometimes we don’t even make a 10% margin in the first place, but if you get in touch with us and mention this forum, we will sort something out where we can. To be honest I am a bit overwhelmed by all the kind words from all of you. I just try to run NRG by a simple code of practice, and that is simply to ask myself "What service would I want? How would I like/expect to be treated?” I understand that sometimes problems occur. You cannot stop them. They can be minimised obviously, but unlike pokemon and STD's, ya can't catch'em all. I believe it’s all about how the problems are sorted out when they do arise. Being honest before the sale, and honourable afterwards. That’s what we strive towards. Mike & the NRG Team www.nrgit.com
Sounds like you guys have a great thing going, I might look into this when I'm buying a new monitor! Prices on delivery to Belgium are quite steep, but its already a good saving I guess
I checked your site out.. I don't see Canada listed.. are you planning to list it later on in the next few months, Mike?
Hi, Our couriers - Parcelforce - have recently changed their pricing for our account, and we need to update our shipping table. We do not make any money on the shipping at all and in fact we subsidise it to the value of the UK free shipping (in other words all prices should be higher by about £10) Whilst we would love to sell to places further afield, not only would all of the customers outside of the EU have to worry about all the additional Duty and taxes, but if the item develops a fault it becomes extremely costly for both the customer to send it back to us and for us to send them the repair or replacement. With the average shipping cost of a monitor to Canada being around £100, it quickly becomes uneconomical for both us and the customer. It would be nigh on impossible for us to give the level of service that a customer should receive. Hi RinSewand, We have just upped the quantity on our website ... they should be there if you check again!
Hi everybody. Mike's asked me to create an account on here because I'll be on here too (getting asked to go on a forum as part of your job is a pretty good perk!). So, you'll see me posting on here too. Just to introduce myself quickly, I've been working at NRG IT for nearly 3 and a half years now, working mostly in customer services and sales, but am now managing operations and generally helping out where it's needed (such as sticking my nose in while trying to help out and generally waffling on here ). Cheers and see you around Olly
I'm trying to think of some sort of competition we can run for the forum. Does anyone have any ideas? Ideally it would be something creative or actually requires some effort, rather than something like you see on Facebook where you just have "like" & "share". I'd have to clear this with Mike before we could do anything, but I'd like to get some ideas to be able to put his way and try and convince him that it's a good idea (I'm guessing he'll probably see this post before I have anything concrete for him. Ha)
That is great! When I start my next project next year, I will be coming your way. Thanks Guys! Simon.
