On the first pic, I think a tighter crop might have worked - or at least clone out the lamp post The last one would be better if it weren't for the edge of the guttering going straight down the right hand edge. It's distracting, and just helps to draw the eye down and away from the focus of the image. Second one is the best shot of all three, in my ever so 'umble opinion.
Just a bit dark really. The 2nd one is the best of all three. The last one has two distractions that drew my eye right to them, the large blobby white thing, and then the black nothingness on the right. May want to try some vertical as well, that will greatly help shots that have excess crap on the right and left sides. Keep on shooting!
'Keep on shooting' eh... The first one looked a bit daft with just the one Teasel sticking up, but I think you're right about the lamp post... The third is a shot down the gutter of an aluminium framed greenhouse, so I only had about an inch of width to play with. Swans, corn - II Not a binary
I really like the second shot the blossom, colours and shape are great. have you though about cropping it by about 100 pixels or so off the right hand side. It would remove a slightly distracting orangey ball, and would mean the blossom would sit bang on one of the intersections of the rule of thirds (bottom right) and the leaf would sit on the intersection at top right.
That swan one is what Im talking about! Nicely done! Keep shooting that quality mate! The image flows, the composition is great and the exposer is spot on with great clarity (these are the things that make a great shot). Keep up the great work, and indeed 'keep on shooting'
