I noticed that in the original post there was a quote saying that Walle saying that homosexuals are trying to hijack the institution of marriage. I don't know if it has been mentioned but marriage predates known religions by quite some way, so if anything religion hijacked marriage, which was originally about maintaining bloodlines and property ownership and had nothing at all to do with religion. History, learn it.
No worries. There are certain ideas so stupid, shameful and harmful to humanity that I will go out of my way to challenge them in mortal combat, and crush them into the dust of oblivion under the hard, heavy the soles of logic and science. It is my kung-fu, and it is strong. I will drive out the demons of stupidity wherever I go, burn the foundations of its citadel and revel in the lamentations of its wretched acolytes. And if I must, I will take off and nuke them from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
Gotta love quotes from that movie. Did you know that Burke (Carter J) does a pretty good santa impression at one point? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncqab4ODjYQ
Works better when he wears the red hat though. Still don't know why that cut that scene from the final release. EDIT: Looks like we're learning...

She can expedite matters by making a strong application for widowhood. But really, this is the 21st Century. She can just separate, shack up with a toyboy and go clubbing and have some hedonistic sex. Her 78-year old husband left to look after himself will probably not last the year.
