Just thought i'd share you a photo thats come from the magic of my new lens. (So happy with it)
    Canon 70-200 F4 L Cheesecake :D

    Just shot in the garden.
Deaf dogs are amusing I have to tell you! :D

Onto the lens - the only tweaks this photo has had, is minor crop, slight colour adjustment in the background and a very fine pass with noise ninja (on the background)
Sharpness is all lens. Its heavenly!

lol sure I have something to say. a) I'm jealous. b) I'm gonna come steal it? ;)

Wonderful lens, I keep eying up the f/2.8 IS but I just cannot commit the resources, despite the idea that it's probably THE #1 workhorse lens in the industry for canon shooters. I'd love to go with the f/4 to save myself some cash (and get a little extra sharpness, oddly) but I shoot outdoors and wildlife and in natural light that's just too narrow in the late evenings.

I love the sharpness on that f/4... is this the IS version, or no?

This is the non IS. ie, the L-that-is-uber-budget-yet-damn-awesome one. ;)
No IS, No weatherproofing, but damn sharp + inner zoom/focusing = sex. (imo)

Generally it'll be used for motorsport, so light is rarely an issue as I pan most shots (and it turns out to using F8 at the widest most the time) :D

Your picture has a nice black and white contrast with a neutral background. How did you get the white balance perfect?
