    Both on Flickr. I also have a little set there called: "Coffees I Have Known and Loved", in hommage to the excellent espressos that are served everywhere in Portugal at the modest price of about 50 Euro cents (35p) a shot! :eeek:

    Love the first one, very mathematical; reminds me of the golden rectangle. :) Second one's pretty cool, do you know what the bird is?

    At 35p a go, I might have to visit Portugal just for the espresso!

    It's a stork. The city centre of Faro was absolutely flocked with them, all competing for any elevated, fairly horizontal surface available to build their nests on.

    Their beek-rattling echoed over the town square all day... a bit like triffids. Very surreal...

    And yes, Portugal is worth a visit for the espresso alone! :thumb:

    Really like the first one.

    A shame to know that starbucks in portugal serve so much better coffee than they do here.

    Nice pictures mate :) I used to go to Portugal every year (6 years after each other) and we always went to the Algarve - Carvoeiro, and landed on Faro Airport.

    The country is beautiful and you can take loads of nice pictures. (and ofcourse get some nice drinks etc ;) )

    Starbucks doesn't get a look in. There are no Starbucks anywhere. No need: even the lowly bus station cafe does a cracking espresso.

    I could happily emigrate there today. Just need to win that lottery first... :p

    I'd like to see the first in black and white, maybe, with a little grain.

    Ohh and maybe rotate to the left by about 1 degree

    The second seems clearer(perhaps just because it's larger) - detail stands out more. The coloured one is just so much more interesting to look at though :D
