Xbox 360 A first-person RPG mentioned months ago

There was a trailer of a game floating around some months ago. The trailer(s) was purportedly all in-game footage and was presented from the first-person perspective of the player. The visuals were OBSCENE. The effects were absolutely incredible and would have been more appropriate in a feature film.

The player drew a bow and fought an ogre in a large ruin of marble pillars; the ogre was wielding a gigantic flail (I think). The trailer concluded with the player looking up from a cliffside to see an inbound boulder crush them. I think the game trailer also served as a technical demonstration by the developer, whose name I didn't recognize. The game is (I think) for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.

Does anyone else remember this? I keep confusing it with "Two Worlds, but that isn't the game I'm trying to describe. Thanks.

 

No idea what game it is, but it sounds wicked, so hopefully someone can name it.

The game you are thinking of is called "Project Offset" its a working title but its what you are thinking of.

Yeah, Project Offset. Built by a very, very small team over the last few years. It looks to give Crysis and Oblivion both a run for their money in terms of pure awesomeness, but we won't know for sure for a while. I've been following the game really very closely for the last year or so.

 

Well, I know what game to watch for then. When is it due out? Any rough idea yet?

I see its got PhysX support in the engine too ... a reason to buy a PhysX card? Probably not as I'm sure Ageia will go bust soon but good on them for trying hehe

Holy jesus... That trailer is amazing. Im not too sure on the third-person graphics. But when it switched to the first person view... Woah.
