Indeed, although try telling that to a girl who I know that was scared to death of only getting A's in Maths and Geography
A Level results sound pretty good all around chaps and chapettes. I wonder what this thread would look like on other types of forum...
in 45minutes I'll be leaving for my first day of uni I haven't really eaten anything since yesterday... I'm pretty nervous
True, true, but if you're considering going there, chances are you were one of those people who spent their entire life working hard to get there, either by your own choice or your parents guiding hand >.> Seriously? Damn. It'd have been a miracle if I passed either of those! ..First day? Damn, man, my course doesn't start until the back end of September.
Last year I got 8 A*s and 2 A's(Eng lit and German), then 3 of my friends got 11 A*s. That WAS fun, then my sister beat me in GCSE's this year(but she did art and normal maths and not IGCSE). My ego's gone right down. Did well this year in AS though. Maths and Further maths-A (module results all a's except M1 and S1 which were a mark off. Maxed in C2, S2 and FP1) Bio-A(maxed) Chem-A(my lowest though with 88%) Physics-A(98%) It's looking good for next year, but my dad gave me a lecture about "coasting" after my sister got her results. Be glad to get back to school so I can see their brand spanking new laser cutter as well. Well done to everyone who go good results and uni places. I was off camping when they came through.
yep it should be quite a first year .... the semester started today and will end on december 18th. Then on January first starts the other semester which will end sometime in may I believe... and then 2 days later starts the summer semester ! YIKES
