Just noticed Tel's rep meter title, fitting Krikkit admitted to it and explained as to why he did it, so everything cleared up?
So I have to remain totally impartial while light-heartedly messing around with a system that is both abused and ridiculed by you and your friends? I have already explained my motivation and mistake, is that not enough? If a serious issue crops up I will hand in my stripes before I start taking sides, as a matter of principle, but does that mean the mod team have to be stone-faced hard-asses about every little thing? I don't want to sound hostile about this, but I want to be clear about the way I approach moderation.
Could you not just leave rep to fester? I don't see why some people need theirs cut, it doesn't affect anyone other than the person with the rep?! Harvey - Krikkit
Krikkit I don't believe Tel's last post was directed at you. It was directed at certain individuals posting who failed to grasp what was being asked and he was merely clarifying things. You explained the circumstances, that's the end of the matter as I see it.

Unless they're points that haven't been earned, just applied in a circular group. Rep should be earned by helping others.

The only time I might take notice of rep is if I was buying from them, it's a rough indication whether they would stitch you up or not although 'don't trust this'. As for advice, general banter I don't care if you have loads of rep or joined today. People really care about this stuff? E-peen !
