Hi guys, I come to ask a ridiculous question about Soldering on a motherboard. Is it possible to de-solder a PCI-E X16 slot and re-solder it sideways so the slot is sideways? If no, it's fine. But if yes, it opens me to a big possibility for a mod i'm planning.
Could you use something like this instead? http://www.xcase.co.uk/PCI-Express-16X-Riser-Card-Slim-Case-p/riser-xlps005.htm
think this should be the same but cheaper but don't hold me to it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PCI-Expre...Components_InterfaceCards&hash=item19cba61599
Wow yeah. That'd save me a lot of time. Looks good quality too. I saw some on ebay but they looked cheap and horrible. Thanks guys.
