I'm at a halfway house and i dont have any internet. the only internet in this middle of nowhere town is the public library and they use Websense internet filtering to block out pages and IPs on everything from hacking related pages to torrent trackers IPs to my friend's private forum which is blocked and not even ten people use the thing - %#@*$!!!!

anyone know of anything that wouldn't be blocked by that or that would allow me to bypass that stuff?

Thanks much, Any help would be sincerely appreciated as i am getting very frustrated with not being able to connect to these things!

it must likey read whats on the page so any proxy may not help you

if you use remote desktop that work fine (remote to home)

Great! THanks a lot. I'm using tor and it's working although a little slow but I really can't complain.

I'm having a little trouble figuring out whatr proxy settings i should be using for other applications however... help? thanks.
