hey i saw a few mods on this forum and it really got me thinking of an idea i wanna try and do to my pc, currently i have a Thermal take skull series Cpu A old 17 inch crt sony monitor (with speakers w00t) And a old sony keyboard Now on top of my monitor i have a Sentinel from the martix cleverly placed on top of my crt....which got me thinking.... Now heres what i wanna do, after seeing that effect of rust done to the Half life 2 case, i was intrested in chaning out my keyboard, first off im buying a black keyboard, i want to leave the keys black but take the outter portion and make it look like black metal with Silver metal tears in it (so it looks like the matrix sentinel with black and silver cuts in my keyboard) Now im going to drill holes into my keyboard and add Tentical Electrial wrap in those holes (much like the tentacle things of the matrix sentinels) Having 2 coming out of the keyboard and plugging into itself and 1 connect directly into my cpu I then will buy and new CRT monitor (looking for a 19-21 inch) and take off the pannels and drill 6 holes into it (2 on top and 2 on each side) And then take more of the electrical wrap (the metal kind but bigger) and have them attached and have all 4 reach to the back and connect into one bigger one And also painting the outter side of my monitor to look like my keyboard with a black / old metal look And finally my cpu will have not that many mods done to it, for the reason being inside of it i have these type of metal cilinder wraps in it, but i will add another coming from my power supply and drill a few holes in my cpu to come out and directly have it attach to my monitor (so it looks like everything is connecting to everything) Well now heres my main question...... How do i make a metal texture look and how do i paint this plastic in general? If you dont get what look im trying to go for metal wise just look up any pic of a matrix sentinel and figure it like that....now can anyone tell me the easiest way to reach my goal (and no tossing a granade at it wont work either) ~Seforin
please some help would be very appriciated right now (and trying to figure out why my system wont work with my graphics card would be another issue) BUT STILL! Help
