    Hi,

I know naff all about macs so here goes. I've got a load of files on a usb hard drive which is formatted as NTFS. Can I just plug this in and copy the files to a mac?

Im not 100% on this, but it should pick it up as a PC exchange.. I think as long as they are files readable on a mac you should be alright.. If theyre mac-specific, just dont try opening them on your PC or they wont work..

Dont hold me to this, but i think mac os x 10.2 or later can read ntfs, but not write to it :)

I always use fat on removeable drives like that (where i can) as just about everything can read them :D

It's for a hard drive, but the same should apply :)

Ok, thanks, I'll reformat it as fat and then try it. All of the files are jpg or office so the mac should read them
