Hi guys, i need some advice. Have an issue , starting te computer all is fine untill windows starts to load the computer just switces off. Now, i thought that this was just software going a bit gaga, so i installed windows again. Everything went well untill after i see the windows logo that takes me to the install bit ..... then the same, it just switches off. Ive taken the ram out and tried diff sticks, and its the same, ive taken the video card out ( 8800gt ) to try to save some power incase its the PSU but still the same even running the on-board. Ive tried a new hard drive but still the same. Would i be right in thinking that this issue is the motherboard? I cannot see no leaky capacitors or anthing like that..... Any help would be much appriciated. 6000+ Asus MB ( mtx ) 4g OCZ 1066 (@800) 8800gt
Well if you've eliminated ALL other possibilities then yeah, maybe... mobo "damage" isn't always visible. I'd still suspect the PSU before the whole board though.
