The Swedish Performance Championship is now over. Robert "Crotale" Kihlberg has reached 203% with his Intel Mobile Celeron 1.4GHz. Using liquid nitrogen he managed to overclock the poor processor to 4242.9 MHz and finally reach over 200%. A milestone indeed for the overclocking community. The record was set on the swedish overclocking championship. Picture here : http://www.nordichardware.com/image3.php?id=889&thumb=0
Wasn't there that Japanse guy who overclocked a P4 too 7.4 ghz using liquid nitrogen? I read it in the news in the summer i believe.
Wow now that's nice I'd like to see that do Super Pi 1M it would probably get 10s or something EDIT: then again it is a Cele Nice Find
hmmm, I've got an almost identical cpu sat right here, and I thought it was basically worthless... oh, english article here...
Yuck its a northy. That would get 35's at best. Maybe 40's. If that was a dothan cpu it would get 10's.
hmm, i have one of those cpus here and thought it was worthless. Well it's okay for dektop use. It however came from a 479 board so i don't see how it would fit in a 478 motherboard.
