    A Tribute

Did this on paint quickly after seeing Microsofts vision of Windows gaming on the forum.

I find their welcoming page particularly ironic.

It'd be funny if this didn't happen every time i'm forced to run it...

It certainly is sad and frightening at the same time.

Sorry had to make something out of rage when I read that thing about GFWL having a "rocky start". Biggest understatement since Japanese Emperor Hirohito said after the dropping of the atomic bombs "the war situation has developed not necessarily to Japan’s advantage".

Maybe I have been lucky, but I have never had any problems with GFWL!

Best first post ever! Have rep.

The thing is, I'm pretty sure I've seen EVERY one of those errors. In particular, I don't think I've EVER been able to install an update without having to manually go and track it down and then install it.

GFWL is a joke, and not a funny one

I tried downloading Mothership Zeta for Fallout 3 from GFWL since I couldn't buy it on a disk. It didn't work so I found other means of downloading it.

I repped. I have hated GFWL for a long time - from the first moment I had to use it, in fact. It still blows my mind that such a simple little tool can fail so massively and in such a complex array of ways.

It's like someone making a screwdriver that periodically blows up in your hand. You just have to ask: how did you mess that up? It's just a screwdriver. It's not complicated. What's wrong with you?

Really, Microsoft, you derive all of your income from PCs and have made large losses on the 360, but you consistently ruin the PC gaming experience for your customers. Do you want to lose money and customers? Are you trying to make screwdrivers that blow up?
