i hate ppl like this let me explain im talkin to this guy right and we r argueing about true speeds and stuff now i tried tellin him that these are the true speeds of connection 512 = 64 256 = 32 128 = 16 64 = 8 and so on now he thinks he can go into this internet cafe where the upload speeds and download speeds are going at at a true speed if 256k or what eva can sum 1 please set this idiot in his place so i can give him this link so he can read it by the way he thinks this is on adsl as well and our max adsl in australia is 2.5mb
Tell the dumb feck the number are divided by 8 to get it to kilobytes as 512k is 512 kilobits. 8 bits = byte thus 512/8 = 64 kilobytes. Even with his/her monkey brain they should be able to work that one out.
