    Nice Review but did you really not think to reference Subnautica? Given the opening paragraph i'm a little surprised by that :)

    I was actually planning to cover Subnautica before I saw this on the release schedule. But yes, that is the *other* game to have bucked the "underwater levels are rubbish" trend.

    While I do see the appeal of exploration games (even though they are not really my cup of tea) I do wonder why it is that they seem to be stuck in that overly coloured/saturated graphics mode? MineCraft, No Man's Sky, Abzû and Firewatch to name those I can remember off the top of my head. Don't get me wrong, I like their respective styles but I find it intriguing and a bit weird they all seem to share a similar approach to graphics/colours.
