At first i have to say that Im from Finland as you can see, and my english is not so good. So if you dont understand something, i'll try to explain it better, just ask. I started my fourth project couple days ago, and named it as Stealthy. The case is Chieftec DX, I got it second-hand for 50€. There will be WC, My first watercooled case. Heres couple pics of my work at this point.

I have already bondoed that door, cutted off those fangrills and desinged window. Whole front bezel will be smooth. 2x120mm rad will be placed on top. I will build res from plexi pipe, it will be placed on front, outside.

    Thats it.

PS: I would like to have that nickname changed, I have used accro for about an year now, and its annoying that only here im with that old sh*t.

looks good I can see why you bondo-ed it. Hope this goes rather smoothly but not to smoothly its fun to run into hard times.

I was thinking that a few of the locations for the HDDs would mess up air flow, but since your using WC, i doubt that will matter that much.

Okay, I've been up all nite, IRC and casemodding=no sleep needed. i have done these mock-ups for acrylic, all those (what is it called, board?) "boards" will be acrylic or aluminium.

Theres that HD placement and plate for pump on the floor.

    Cover for fan holes.

Front. In that plate there will be holes for res tubes.

Ahh. Thats how i like it. Full covering for wires.

All in. Now I might want couple hours of nice dreams.

    Thats it.

Update! Went to local hardware store to get sandpaper, blades for jiqsaw and file. Then cutted window. I havent finished it yet, need to file a bit.

    cutting.

    And cutted.

Like I said i have to file those edges straight.

Thats it, hope you liked it. BTW, remind me that when I next time cut something with jigsaw, I have to get a new saw. That Black & Decker is something awful.

Went to that glass-store, and this is what i got:

    pre-cutted covers.

In places. It looks kind a wierd, because of that grey chassis, but when its painted all white, i think it will be nice.

covers for those fanholes, just taped on.

    And theres that HD placement.

I have to buy some aluminium plate that i can mount those plexi's.

    Until next time.

Hmm I'm subscribe to this one...I got a chieftec bx which has pretty much the same skeleton, just a diffrent plastic front. I always thought it would be a pain in the arse to mod due to the very thick metal. Lets see what you make out of it :)

I am working on a mod with that same case and similar features. I can tell you the wire management is awesome. In the end, I will most likely on show 3 wires.

Maybe give you some ideas for the HD...

    Keep it up!

That HD placement is pretty cool! But Im still going with original idea. My goal is to hide ALL wires. Only watercooling tubes are allowed to be seen.

Plexi will be glued, have to buy some epoxy. Notice that gap on top? I will make wooden plate to it.

Edit: couple pics of that PSU and 5.25 cover finished:

Now i have cleaned that front bezel, have to cut a plexi for it. That plate in picture is not good, i have to make a curve to top of the plexi. Heres couple pics, I have worked two days now with the case, and this is the result:

That front bezel modding wont be easy, but it's just challenge to me.

    see ya.

Plans have changed. Im covering most of the interior with plexi. Those plates that i now have are too small.
