This one: BenQ BL3200PT has, according to TFT Central, the same LCD panel, more settings options and is a little cheaper. Review here: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/benq_bl3200pt.htm

I have a Benq GW2750HM which has performed faultlessly these last two years. It is not the best for fast moving action, so maybe not good for FPS games but, works well with the RPG games I favour. The high contrast is useful in dark dungeons and the colour is vibrant, even Skyrim looks less dull! AMVA panels have improved a lot in the last two years though.

PS, there is also a Samsung using that same panel, but more expensive: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-LS32D85KTSN-EN-LCD-Monitor/dp/B00M8XQALK

I had heard of the Samsung from another forum as luck would have it someone there is expecting delivery of the panel today and promises to leave a review later.

As for the Benq will have a look at that but I am a FPS gamer so will need to factor that in.

    Thanks.

Glenn, I'm after this one too.
BenQ is a bit better quality wise, as far as I found so far. Only thing is now Acer is £80 cheaper!
£359 - can't go wrong with that!. Benq is £440.
Benq has better speakers and build quality, but panel wise they are both same.
I also play FPS but from what I have read noone complained about lag or ghosting, so I think it's pretty good screen, even for FPS. Unless you are pro gamer and very anal about input lag, I think you will be fine with it.
Only thing peeps comment is banding - on full grey background you can see some banding - vertical stripes going 1/3 the screen. Normally I don't think you would notice them to be honest. I don't worry about that bit anyway...

I've been reading about Acer for last 3 days, looking for something that would put me off and jump on Benq, but nothing is really worrying me so far...

Also - just noticed that my Hazro 27" WC monitor is also 6ms response time, same as Acer. I do not see any issues with 6ms, so I think we are fine with it.

I don't notice any banding on my 2 year old Benq and, as I said above, AMVA panels have improved a lot over the last 2 years.
