I was looking for some 2" clear acrylic rod, but the only lengths I can find are 4 or 6 feet. I only need about a foot, and at 10+ dollars per foot, that's is expensive and a lot of extra material that I do not need.

Does anyone here know of a location that would sell larger diameter clear acrylic rod in a smaller (1') length? Or, even better, a place that is willing to cut shorter lengths? I am in the US, btw.

    Thanks!

Mcmaster sells some sizes and colors per foot with no minimum length.

Part# 8528K38 is 2" diameter and you can buy just one or two feet at $13.72 per foot
    or part# 8581K81 for 2" diameter 6 inch length for $8.13

Or see if there's a Piedmont Plastics near you and give them a call.

I finally just cast my own. 20 bucks for polycarb resin at Hobby Lobby.

A few more hours, and I'll have pictars...
