Not sure how to define it...because google won't help me out....

I am looking for 2'+ diameter acrylic tubing. But when I search the net, I can't find any place that sells it, the most i have seen is 12" diameter.

If anybody knows of a website selling it, I would be most gracious, and for the record, its for a project I am gonna start... will give out details a bit later once I got all the specs/bugs worked out :)

    Thanks

2 foot diameter!? :jawdrop: Dang man, I've never seen it THAT big before. Biggest I've seen it is 4" and that's like $10 a foot. I know this would create a seam, but why not get a 2' diameter bucket or something and use a heat-gun to bend a piece of acrylic around?

www.usplastics.com has it, I think. I believe it is in useful links as well.

Obviously, that would be for USA based modders, but since I don't know where the country "Right behind you..." is, it'll have to do :p

    suppose that isn't a good drescription... :p

    I do live in US.

And I am trying NOT to get a seam.. but if it came down to it.. is there anyway to get a very solid seam and not make it look TOO bad?

The only way that I could even think about how to get a good seam would be to use plastic weld or something similar. I'm not that great with working with acrylic but I would try that on a couple of scrap pieces first.

Here is a place in Chicago. They have stuff well over 24" OD and its excess so I am sure you can get a good deal.
I have bought from this guy before, really nice.

When I went there last time I got to see his two 1000W lasers for cutting this stuff. Very COOL!!! I want one!
