    Perhaps the BBC and others, will sit up and take notice of this and get on with switching to HTML5, instead of doing nothing. The sooner they do so, the sooner I can remove Flash from my PC.

    It should be interesting to see how Microsoft handle this now Windows 10 incorporates Flash, are they going to do what they normally do and remove the .exe while leaving most other bits laying around.

    Other way around: the next windows update is killing flash in Edge by default. The Flash plugin has been bundled at install since Windows 8.

    Never thought I'd see Adobe drop a proprietary format.
