    Hi all,

And so, I am saving money to buy a handheld PC
Two things really, one is that I now finally realise its convenience, despite me having an iPaq years ago. Second I found it works out cheaper to buy a PDA+GPS than a GPS camera detector in the car! (RoadAngel - 399pounds)

However, I just started looking two days ago and that I... I am completely lost It has been years since I last look at PDAs and I don't even know where to start, except that I know the latest version of WinCE is 2003... but what has it got over 2002?

What should I look for? What kind of processing power and capacity should I be looking at, and is 320x240@65536colours stardard?

The only thing I know is that I want Windows, I don't want PalmOS. So Sony and Palm is not under consideration (unless someone convince me... of course).

And what kind of GPS should I go for? CF? BlueTooth? Or what???

    Please enlighten me!

    Thanks.

I'd get a Sony TG50 or UX650<<I think thats the model)

I have a Sony T665C right now and I love it.

Those are palm models. I dont know much about PocketPC, But I'd reccommend the TG50 from newegg.com, its $250.00 USD, and runs Palm OS 5.1

I know you said not about palm or sony, but I just thought I'd say...

    SNAP,

    wywywywywy

I have just checked out a few options available over at

    GPS UK
    Total PDA
    Jactron

Go for TomTom2 Software for incar nav, the Hiacom 303MMF is the "Best Buy" for GPS Receiver - non Bluetooth,
The Emtac Bluetooth GPS for BT option...

They have some kit you might want to stroke too :)
