Aero7 fitting problem

Today my g/f went out and got a k7n2 Delta and an Aero 7 (she's upgrading)
I've come to build it and it appears that there is physically no way I can fit the HSF to the board because of 2 caps to the south of the socket and another component on the bottom left corner. The problem and my frustration, is that its only about 0.5mm too big to actually fit in that space.

Has anyone else ever fitted one of these or had this problem?
if so how did you get round it??

Any suggestions (and no Im not going to modify it as its brand new)
