I'm sure 500g of copper must cost a fair whack, I don't know how they can afford to make these things so cheap... bargain :)

Great review as always Kna

Did I miss in the review about noise, something that is important this days :naughty:

Just interested how it faired against the others?

Hmm, I did mention it (about the silence solution) although admittedly not in comparison.

That said, another review coming out today might see to that. :)

Jess, now i dont understand anything...
Got a XP2100 with the same cooling as Macroman has in his article: Titan Aluminium Fan ( http://www.bit-tech.net/review/147/ )

Atm, 2 case fans blowing in fresh air and psu blowing it out...
Installing Blowhole in a few hours, but still my cpu run's at 52'C with side door open... Can there be something wrong with my CPU ? or mobo detecting wrong voltage?

    With case door closed, i'm idle at 58'C and 100% i havn't tested as i don't dare... :/
all though shutdown is set in bios at 70'C. I just don't understand it.. have tried it with 5 different heatsinks and fans from a 31cfm papst fan to the monster from Delta...
though the delta did get the temp down to 43'C at idle, 51'C @ 100% running at 12V or as i like to call it... THE JET

I still think something is wrong.. ( room temp 22'C ).
Another thing i keep putting my brain to is actually where on the heatsink these fans blow the air... ( allways to the sides ) as the motor on the fan is center mounted.

Anyone tried mounting a fan on a cone/bevel? Where as the air will be forced to the center of the heatsink where the actuall heat is located..

But still i think something is wrong with my cpu...
Allways 10-15'C above everyone else... :/

Nice job, I wish it had better mounting facilities though... that's a might heavy lump of copper to be suspended by two thin plastic tabs.

I'm pedantic too, and I only found one typo :)

    Last Page:
"The results were quite interesting, as the Hercules is very, very ahead in it's cooling capabilities: "

Should read "its cooling capabilities: "

I'm available for "official Bit Pedant" if that office is not filled :)

Am I right in looking at a 50% noise redux from my 45 dB delta black label?

hmmm one lug, definetly a three lug mod job coming up am I right KNA?
