    Hi,

I just recently got a new PC built myself, it has an AMD Athlon 64 3000+, and is using the stock heatsink/fan. I would like to do some overclocking, but my temp at startup is 62 cel. :wallbash: . I've been looking around for a decent heatsink on various websites, but i have no idea what it better than what. I'm asking anyone that has a little spare time to please help me with what to look for in a CPU heatsink. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Chris

Stay away from the swiftech, to difficult to mount. Thermaltake tower 112 is alright though.

    CPU temp

also is it just me or does that 62 cel seem way too high for being idle?

Yes it does, but there are also a lot of factors.
