Think a lot of you are missing the point - it's a meetup for northernish folk because of the difficulty of organising a really big meetup ( but still open to anyone if you wish to travel from wherever you live! )
14th August is good for me, and i don't mind jumping on a train.

As much as I thought Brum was a better location because of ease of access the proposed easter date came and passed with nothing.

I personally will come to any meet that is organised if I have the time off and it is not in outer Mongolia. I just would like to meet some of you guys and share a war story or two over a coke or two.

If you don't want to go, then don't. Simple.

Like others have said, not everyone lives in the South so to have the choice of a more Northern meet sounds good to me.
I wouldnt mind meeting some of you guys, so when a dates been set I'll see if I can make, cant resist a good pi$$ up.

PS - I thought the Birmingham one had died long ago anyway with lack of interest.

7th of August is a big no no for me. I'll most likely be out of the country and it's the day before my 21st.

Leeds is great for me - though I'd turn up to a party anywhere in Europe (a flight to france/spain is cheaper than a train to London... :eyebrow:)

Thing to bear in mind with Leeds tho - annoying bouncers! Ok, so we all expect dress codes but they've taken things a bit far with banning "large" groups. Was out there a couple of weeks back and we were refused entry to 5 or 6 places because "No large groups".There was only 6 of us...

So put me down as a yes. And if anyone organises another meet I'm there too. Birmingham, Notts, Edinburgh, Berlin...

i think you got it wrong mate. acron started the other thread and then never bothered organizing anything. there was meant to be a meet over easter :eyebrow: the thread is still going, and nobody's taking control.

emzay is simply organizing a meet that should happen (can't see why not). it's being organized in leeds as thats what suits her best, which is fair enough. i doubt she'd be much good organizing a brum meet tbh.

this is the 'ONE' meetup you mentioned ;)

//having the meet when i dont have a resit exam would be nice btw
