i was thinking on buying the GA-8AENXP-D motherboard from gigabyte and a intel 3.6 but lately i do feel that AMD might be better than intel so do ya recomend i go intel and the mobo or should i go AMD if so which is the best mobo i can get for about 300 dllrs and an AMD chip for the same price as 3.6 intel??????????????????? help
Athlon 64; if you mean $300 for just a motherboard and for the same price as a 3.6 Ghz Intel, get a 3700+ and a DFI Nforce 4 SLI-DR or better; thats the most expensive AMD board on the market, and its still sub $200; you could get an X2 3800+ with that kind of money

Just go to Newegg.com and fuddle around. It's really easy to find everything you need. I often go there and build systems when I'm bored and sometimes I can't go to sleep when I need to, because I'm too busy building a system on Newegg.
