Cooling Air lock

Plumbed up the system last night on the bench for leak testing but seem to have a flow problem?

Not sure if air is getting in or I have an air lock?

Or I have one of the hoses on the wrong way round:

Res out>Pump in>Pump Out>Rad in>Rad Out>Spir@l in >Spir@l out>Res in

The center of the swirl is in and the tail is the out. I was going to swap and see if the other way round would be easier?

No Leaks though

 

would putting the rad inbetween the spirals help in cool the second CPU any? ive never dealt with dualies so wouldnt know

 

My fault, should have put an, in and out on the Sipr@l Have now, it's a single CPU Setup. I followed the procooling recomendation.

 

u blead the system at all?? tap and shake ur block radiator and pump.....betcha theres air probably in the radiator...just put the res at the top and shake everything...air should be trapped in the res then

 

Don't change the sprir@l in and out; it's the right way as it is. Circuit is fine also. As Haddy says: shake that rad, baby!

 

Things are getting better, finding out I'd hooked up the hoses the wrong way round on the pump was a big help. However I did swap the hose round on the spir@l, whoops

So it's pumping round a treat now

Snag is it's very bubbly which Ive heard of before. I've filled the res up and this has improved it but not sure what else to try?

I've run overnight to see if it would clear its self but it didn't?

Should I be too concerned?

 

system specs and temps....if ur temps are good who cares.....and u know dont give us that onboard sutff unless its reading the diode.....

 

Don't really want to add it to the system until it's all running as sweet as poss.

I've heard of the phrase " Water Churning" due to the inlet and outlet being too close together?

Just looks milky?

yea that would be helpfull, as ive never herd of that before.....

 

Check your pump for leaks. Leaks cause air to enter the pump and for cavitation to occur, which aerates and foams the water.

what addatives are in the water?? looks like u used pink lemonade.....still need to fix that spiral thing too....also u can coat around the hose barbs on the pump with a lil silicone if ur worried air is getting in there....i would suggest emptying the system....flushing each compnent....clean the pump by pumping fresh water through it and emptying it in a sink....

 

Water wetter?

Does the mix look a little strong?

 

u used water and water wetter right?.....what wuz ur ratio? ive always used 2oz to every gallon of water *2oz= ~59.15ml, 1 gallon= ~3.785l*

 

A good 3/4 cap fulls to 1Ltr.

Too Much right?

Tightened all clips to the Max no leaks?

check my above post...i edited it before i after u posted ur last post.......ur water should be almost clear....with a lil hint of red....a 12oz bottle should treat 6 gallons of water...or 22.71 liters

 

There was only about an 1 1/2" in the bottom of the bottle that TiTch gave me which I measured out to about 3Ltr's. Perhaps it needs some more diluting.

 

buy a new bottle and measure it out.....its only like 12bucks.....thats probably y its pink and milky if u tryed to dilute it....

I'll flush out the current liquid and dilute the remainder and give that a go.
